The Oregon PIRC provides parents throughout the State of Oregon with a variety of resources and trainings that can help them improve the school-readiness of their children and form effective and meaningful partnerships with their child's school.
Training workshops, held at conferences and targeted schools, show parents how they can help their child succeed in school. Contact us to talk about scheduling a parent training event.
In Oregon, there are almost 60 parent education programs based on the Parents As Teachers (PAT) model that are supported by funds from the Oregon PIRC. We provide parents with information on how to access the local programs that can help them get their preschool child ready for school. Learn more about our Early Childhood Parent Education services.
