In Oregon, there are almost 60 Early Childhood Parent Education (ECPE) programs based on the Parents As Teachers (PAT) model endorsed by the U.S. Department of Education and the U.S. Department of Justice. Some of our funds are set aside to support these programs so that Oregon PIRC can work with parents to further the development and school-readiness of young children throughout the state.
Learn more about the PAT model and how it benefits parents and schools.
